A small community church in the heart of the settlement, St. James offers a spiritual setting for your ceremony. A fee of $250.00 is required for use of the church and certain rules do apply. Hope Town Weddings is the booking agent for St. James Church, please contact us for information regarding use.

Couples wishing to bring their own pastor must request permission from the Circuit Minister for Abaco. Couples must also retain the services of a Marriage Officer of the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and that individual must be present at the ceremony in order for the service to be legal.

A representative of St. James Methodist Church MUST approve all ceremonies performed by non-local ministers.
